Located within a private Los Angeles Estate, this was a comprehensive renovation of a personal screening room. Careful attention to the Estate’s architectural context, as well as the Owner’s extensive modern painting collection informed the interior design decisions.

Concealed and integrated into the interior design of the room are all new acoustic systems, as well as state of the art technology systems. A Dolby Atmos surround audio system and new digital projection were implemented. Wall panels of transondent horse-hair fabric, and ceiling panels of sound absorbent plaster insure the interior design in no way compromises the cinema experience and performance of the room.

A custom designed, woven and detailed carpet brings a contemporary focal point to the room. Leather flooring tile perimeter areas enhance the texture and shape of the room. And extensive planning studies of seating layouts and sight-lines further insured an un-compromised experience.

State of the art control technology was integrated, including control of all building systems, audio and projection, and access to the remote digital media library, all from touch panel interface.
